ANNOUNCEMENTS
As we look to make Celtic an extraordinary day for all including you as our awesome parents, students, and volunteers here are a few notes to remember:
Committee Heads, please arrive at 8:00 to get your area set up
Volunteers, please arrive at 10:00 to check in. Be sure to stop at the volunteer registration tent to let us know you've arrived and to obtain your 2 meal tickets
Later arriving volunteers, registration will be moved to Gimmicks please check in there to let us know you've arrived and to obtain your meal ticket.
Throughout the day there will be two places for you to get as much water as you need to stay well hydrated throughout the day. For bottled water please go to the bake sale table. If you have a Yeti or some type of water bottle you'd prefer to use and refill please go to the water station and see Diana Gardner. This option saves our band money and plastic bottles :)
Please help us to make sure our guests have as pleasant experience as possible with finding a place to park by parking behind the football field all the way at the top BEHIND the soccer field. If you need assistance getting from your car to the stadium please let Bayne or Christy know and they'll make sure someone picks you up in a gator or golf cart.
Please remember if you want or need a chair for your area BRING IT FROM HOME
Remember to bring money if you want/need extra food
Remember to bring sunblock and bug spray
Everyone please stay and help us clean up when it's all over. It will be a long and exhausting day for all and the more help we have on board the earlier everyone can go home and crash!
Thank you for making it possible and making the difference you will in the lives of those we touch that day.
Pride, United!
All of your personal belongings and books need to be stored in your LOCKER all day. Your band bags, lunch boxes, rehearsal shoes, etc… are not to be left in the band room all day! The obvious exceptions being flags, instruments, and things like that. If you have 4th block band class, you may bring your bags and such with you to the band room for that class to save an extra trip at the end of the day.
Due the the EXTREME peanut/nut/soy allergies of a new student, the GHS/GMS Band Room is now a TOTALLY NUT FREE ZONE! If you have ANY nut or soy products in your lunch, you may not eat in the band room. This student is allergic to the point where even dust leftover in the air can set off an extreme reaction. Any students encountering any of these allergens need to wash their hands (soap and water not sanitizer) before touching chairs, stands, etc… This is not a situation to be taken lightly. Please take MAXIMUM care with this!
